Understanding Nayax payout timing
How settlements work and how to reconcile payouts with reports.
Updated Feb 9, 2026
Overview
Settlements are batched by cutoff times and typically deposit 1–3 business days later depending on your bank. Review the settlement report in the portal and match it to bank deposits by batch ID.
Weekend and holiday deposits can shift by a day. Keep a weekly reconciliation log with batch ID, deposit date, and gross vs net amounts to account for fees.
Portal checks
- Confirm settlement cutoffs for your account.
- Match batch IDs to bank deposits by date.
- Review fee breakdown for each batch.
Device actions
- None needed, but confirm reader status is online to prevent missed transactions.
- Reboot devices that show stale settlement data.
Escalation info
- Provide the batch ID, amount, and deposit date to support.
- Attach settlement reports for the affected period.
- Note any bank holidays that may shift deposits.
Expanded guidance
- Confirm all steps are documented so the next technician can reproduce the results.
- Capture before/after metrics (errors cleared, sales restored, or uptime improved).
- Review machine, reader, or route settings to ensure they match location standards.
Common pitfalls
- Skipping a controlled test leads to false positives.
- Updating hardware without documenting configuration changes.
- Forgetting to verify payout, refund, or reconciliation data after changes.
Next-step checklist
- Run a final test with known-good inputs.
- Log the outcome with date, time, and device identifiers.
- Schedule a follow-up check if the location has high traffic or seasonal demand.
